GenomeSpace at ISMB 2013 BerlinGenomeSpace will be featured at a number of events at ISMB 2013 in Berlin, July 19 - 22:
GenomeSpace at BOSC-Broad Interoperability HackathonGenomeSpace will be one of the featured tools at the BOSC/Broad interoperability hackathon on Sunday and Monday, April 7 and 8 at the Broad Institute. It occurs just prior to Bio-IT World in Boston and is a warm up event for BOSC 2013 occurring July 19-20th in Berlin. The goal of the hackathon will be developing open source tools to help enhance bioinformatics interoperability. See http://www.broadinstitute.org/events/interoperability-hackathon-2013/home for more information as the event approaches. GenomeSpace at the 9th annual Cytoscape WorkshopGenomeSpace will be presenting at the 9th annual Cytoscape workshop at the Gladstone Institute in San Francisco on December 14th during the "Cytoscape Plugin and App Expo" section on Friday afternoon. GenomeSpace moved to GenePattern's production serversWe have transitioned the GenePattern instance used by GenomeSpace to the main GenePattern server at http://genepattern.broadinstitute.org/gp effective immediately. Up to now GenomeSpace has been pointed to a test instance at http://gpami.broadinstitute.org:8080/gp/. We recommend that you save your data from the GenePattern Test server to GenomeSpace by logging in directly from this link. On the public GenePattern server you will need to associate your GenomeSpace credentials to your public GenePattern account or create a new Genepattern account if you do not already have one on that server. Data left on the GenePattern test server after this time will be subject to Genepattern's default retention policy (expiration after 10 calendar days) and will remain available for a short time at the test URL, though this will not be launchable from GenomeSpace. GenomeSpace moving to Galaxy's production serversWe will be transitioning the Galaxy instance used by GenomeSpace to the main Galaxy server at main.g2.bx.psu.edu at noon on Wednesday October 24. Up to now GenomeSpace has been pointed to their test instance at https://test.g2.bx.psu.edu/root. We recommend that you save your data from the Galaxy Test server to GenomeSpace before that time. On the public Galaxy server you will need to associate your GenomeSpace credentials to your public Galaxy account or create a new Galaxy account if you do not already have one on that server. Data left on the Galaxy test server after this time will be subject to Galaxy's default retention policy and will remain available for a short time at the test URL, though this will not be launchable from GenomeSpace.
